Dad is out of hospital. Got out a few days early.
AND I was able to get my ass registered for all of my classes/courses that I wanted and needed to take.
Today is a good day oppo.

It felt like a betrayal and breach of trust when you decided you couldn’t talk directly to me or the other person involved and instead went to the mods. That stung, especially after all the stuff we all have been through and supported each other through over the past two-ish years. That doesn’t mean we don’t still care about you. It doesn’t mean *I* don’t still care a whole heck of a lot about you, Pete. You know I do.
None of us can shut off our emotions and our sense of connection to each other as if it was a light switch. That’s part of being human, so I don’t know why you’re surprised that we/I still care.
I still hope we can mend our friendship. You and I don’t agree on a lot of things, but we do on some. And you’re still important to me.
I hope you’re doing ok in TB. I still worry about you and hope you do well this year. You know how to reach me if you ever want to talk.

The point was I had an issue with a mod. Wasn’t even directly about you (maybe indirectly...but you weren’t the person I had an issue with). so I went to the other mods.. is that really such a big deal? hell Id expect the same shit to happen if it was about CL and you had an issue with me.

You had a criticism with one of your friends who also happens to be a mod. You never approached them to say you had any issues with them. It would be like me talking to your parents to tell them that you pissed me off. What do they care? It’s not their job to handle it, it’s yours.
If you had talked to the person first and wasn’t satisfied with their answer, then by all means, take it to the outside party. But you didn’t even give the person the benefit of the doubt. That’s a dick move, Pete.
And if I had an issue on CL (which, really, Idoncurr because it’s my personal policy not to comment or interact there), I would take it to you. Why the hell am I going to talk to any of the other mods there? You know from experience that when you and I have had a disagreement, I’ve always tried to address it with you directly. You’ve done the same with me. So why couldn’t you do the same with that person?
It’s a big deal because we have spent the last two years cheering each other on, calling each other out on our bullshit, laughing at each other’s jokes, sharing in each other’s sorrows, and basically doing all the things friends do. That’s worth a little common courtesy.
